Spindrift Cottage at Southerness, Dumfries & Galloway is a fabulous, beach-front, fully-refurbished detached 3-bedroom property. Sleeps 6 adults and 1 child . There is a sofa in the family room which can convert into a small double bed.

The Cottage is all on the ground floor with open plan living area, kitchen and a dining area with great views over the Solway Firth, featuring sliding doors out on to the garden area. Please note that at the end of the garden it drops down on to the beach area. The king-size and the double-bedroom have en-suite shower rooms. The family bathroom is only a few steps away from the family room and comprises of a bath and a large separate shower, wc and whb (wash hand basin.)

Heating for the Cottage is supplied from LPG gas boiler and there is a wood-burning stove. There is underfloor heating throughout  the Cottage. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, large fridge freezer, and dish washer. There is also a washing machine and tumbler dryer in the utility area.

Included in your guest stay at Spindrift Cottage is bed-linen towels and firewood for the woodburning stove

. There is off-road parking for 4 cars, a lawned-garden with outdoor table and chairs.

Amenities: Seasonal shop, chip shop and pub (Paul Jones Hotel )   approximately 200yards away which is open from April to October.

Southerness is a holiday village situated in the south west of Scotland approximately 16 miles west of Dumfries. Surrounding area includes Castle Douglas, known as the “Food Town” of the south west. RSPB Mersehead nature reserve approx. 2 miles away
